CrossFit class - private, semi private or group:
We do an effective warm up. The warm up may include some of the exercises we will do during our workout.
During each CrossFit class we learn or review 2 or 3 skills.
Then we do a workout. Everyone is welcome to do a workout at their level. Often it will be the WOD posted on the site, sometimes, it will be something completely different.
After the workout, I like to have my students do a skill they have trouble with, and often we do some work on the GHD ( glute ham developer).
We cool down and stretch.
Pilates - Private and semi private
I use Stott Pilates equipment. I have a chair, a rehab reformer, cadillac. I also like to use a variety of small equipment, including balls, arc barrel, foam rollers etc...
Depending on level, from rehab to elite athlete, I am accustomed to creating varied and exciting workouts. I know the death of any workout regime is boredom, thus I try to make each class a little different.
Pilates - Group Classes
In our 4 person group class, we use all small equipment: balls, medicine balls, foam rollers, bosus, flex bands, weighted balls and small weights.
In all pilates classes we warm up, work our butts off ( I often get sworn at)then cool down and stretch.
